Meet the Instructors

Marc Fitzwater is the owner of I68 Consulting Group and a retiring Green Beret serving 22 years in the US Army with a 15-year career in Army Special Forces. Having served in both the 7th and 10th Special Forces Groups, Marc has been deployed ten times to various global hotspots, including the Middle East, Central and South America, and Eastern Europe, in both combat and operational capacities. His extensive experience includes training foreign Special Operations Forces (SOF) militaries and police units, who have effectively utilized this training in real-world operations.  Additionally, Marc is a certified NRA Pistol Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer, further highlighting his expertise in firearms training and safety.

Driven by his passion for teaching and recognizing the critical need for quality instruction in defensive shooting, Marc founded I68 Consulting Group. His company reflects his commitment to leveraging his elite military training and operational experience to educate and empower others.
